The difference between MDFN male disconnect is the brass thickness.
MDFNY(0.8mm) is made of one layer-0.8mm thickness brass,while MDFN(0.8mm) is made of two layers-0.4mm thickness brass,so MDFNY has a better performance on the electrical conductivity.
Thick brass in the wire connectors ensures strong secure crimping every time, providing small voltage drop, high current flow, and less heat. These will prevent short circuits and problematic wiring.
Product Specification:
Nylon connectors are color coded according to industry standards.Three Different Colors indicates different gauge, also for easy identification.
Red terminals for 22-18AWG,,0.5-1.5mm²
Blue terminals for 16-14AWG,1.5-2.5mm²
Yellow terminals for 12-10AWG, 2.5-4mm²
Maximum Working Temperate: 220°F (105°C)
Maximum Voltage: 400V
